Christmas approaching faster and faster, my mom has been kind enough to send me some treats from France that she knows I miss and love dearly :)
So sure enough Haribo and Kinder are all over the place...candy and chocolate can hardly get any better than these!
So thanks mom, now i can hide under the blanket with my man to devour these while watching movies :D
In the picture(from left to right):
Haribo Floppy, Haribo Croco, Apple Loops, Haribo Rotella Licorice, Haribo Christmas Collection box, Reindeer d'Or by Lindt, Celebrations, Dragibus Soft, Kinder Maxi, Kinder Bueno, Fritizz by Lutti, Kinder Schoko-Bons, Haribo Fraises Tagada, Kinder Surprise, Kinder Santa, Knorr soups (the only item to make me feel unguilty!).

PS: For those of you who are interested in candy swapping I can get you American candy if you are outside the US or French candy even...it only takes a message, I'm a candy swap activist!
For those of you who do not know me I was born and raised in famous France right next door to the even more famous Paris...that was until a year ago when I packed my suitcases, kissed my family and friends goodbye and grabbed a plane, direction : LAX!
Now this is where it gets interesting. I think the US suffer from a FWS, translation: French Wannabee Syndrome! LOL Why will you ask? Simply because you cannot go anywhere without seeing French!
Let me explain...When you are in France, you go to the fast food and what do you ask with your hamburger?-Fries-. Well here when you go to a Bad Health Temple you order -French Fries-. If French fries are actually French remains a mystery and a subject of discord between French and Belgians who both claim they invented it...the truth is probably that they both did at a different time...after all there is no genius in putting sliced potatoes in a bath of boiling oil! Though not to offend anyone I'll play British and call them Chips!LOL
If you think that stops here you are wrong. The American people seem to love to call everything French, probably cause then it sounds better to them...Here's a little collection:
-French fries
-French beans
-French vanilla
-French roast coffee
-French door
-French dressing (what us Frenchies would call "Vinaigrette")
-French horn
-French maid
-French manicure
-French poodle
-French press
-French toast (this one is understandable since it comes from a French recipe)
...not to forget of course the famous:

French Kiss!! (Not complaining about this one for sure!XD)
Oh and one of my favorites: "Pardon my French"...mainly used to excuse your use of a bad word...this is priceless, I think they know our love for the cursing sport very well!
So next time you go to the US remember it is a land invaded by the French...things!
